This beginner’s workshop will provide you with an introduction to the art of brush calligraphy – a fun and modern approach to lettering using one simple tool – a brush pen! 

Learn to create beautiful letters and words and make your own greetings cards, gift tags and a gorgeous print to frame at home.

Advisory Note:

Suitable for total beginners and those who have tried some calligraphy before. Best suited to 14+, but under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet the Tutor

Heather is the founder of Leigh Calligraphy, from Leigh-on-sea in Essex. She began learning calligraphy 10 years ago so that she could write her own wedding invitations and place cards. Heather was instantly hooked and couldn’t put the pen down! 

Now a professional calligrapher and freehand engraver, who works primarily for brands such as Dolce and Gabbana, Rhode, Prada,
Charlotte Tilbury, Christian Louboutin and Miu Miu to offer personalisation on their products. Heather loves sharing her passion for calligraphy and has taught thousands of students this fun and therapeutic art over the last 10 years.
