90-minute workshop – cost £28.00
Learn needle-turn appliqué techniques as you stitch this dreamy landscape of trees in winter. Jo will be showing you how to stitch perfect circles and how to freehand cut your trees and layer them to create a unique composition. Hand quilting is added to finish as a coaster or tiny quilt… or make more moon trees at home for a larger project.
Advisory Note:
Suitable for beginners over the age of 16. Some experience with hand stitching would be beneficial.

Jo Avery
Jo Avery is a prize-winning quilter based in Scotland. She is a regular contributor to many quilting publications and the author of both New Patchwork and Quilting Basics and Modern Crewel Embroidery. As part of The Thread House, she organises sewing retreats and an online teaching Academy. Inspired by nature her eclectic style perfectly blends modern aesthetics with traditional techniques.
