STITCH A DISSOLVABLE FABRIC BOWL with Gillian Cooper - Friday 6th March 2026 - 3.30pm
Thursday 5th March 2026-Saturday 7th March 2026
SEC, Glasgow
STITCH A DISSOLVABLE FABRIC BOWL with Gillian Cooper
60-minute workshop – cost £20.00
Use dissolvable fabric, lots of thread, Angelina fibres and a sewing machine to create a lacy fabric which will be shaped into a bowl. You will free machine stitch the bowl (you are in control of the stitch length not the machine).
As dissolvable fabric is so forgiving, it is a great way to learn or improve free machine stitching. As bonus you will have created a beautiful tiny bowl.
Advisory Note:
All levels and ages over 16 years old.
Meet the Tutor
Gillian Cooper is a textile artist who loves to share her passion and skills with others. She finds dissolvable fabric very versatile, using it for quilt patterns, a strengthener, to make new fabrics and of course, making bowls. Gillian runs in-person and online courses in textiles and sketchbooks. Talks and workshops for groups. Available for exhibitions, commissions and teaching.
.
PLEASE NOTE: WORKSHOPS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
* Show times are subject to change. Please check the ICHF Events website for up to date timings.
