BOTTLE CAP PINCUSHIONS with Heather Chalkley

90-minute workshop – cost £28.00

Learn how to make a beautiful and useful little pincushion using a bottle top. The technique is all hand stitched and great fun. Come and spend a lovely 90 minutes with like-minded makers.

Advisory Note:

This is suitable for anyone able to stitch. It is a small project so if you normally wear glasses, please bring them. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet the Tutor

Heather Chalkley has been sewing since she was very little. Originally learning patchwork and quilting when living in Canada and then joining the Quilters Guild on returning to the UK. Through the guild Heather began to teach first children and then adults. Having taught for many years at Festival of Quilts and more recently Knit and Stitch, Heather moved to Edinburgh in 2024, this will be the first time she has taught at The Scottish Quilting Show.
