90-minute workshop – cost £28.00 

Get to grips with locker hooking and discover what different materials work for you. This technique can be slow, but is very satisfying – you will get a piece of locker hooker fabric to have a go on. This rag rugging technique locks the loops in place so rugs can be washed with no risk of coming out. 
This technique takes a long time so you will leave with a sampler piece and the skills to keep going.

Kim Searle
Kim Searle (Darn It! Workshops) graduated in 2012 after specialising in Printmaking with an emphasis on creative work within communities. She now travels across the country to deliver creative sessions to galleries, groups, festivals, events and more.  She also co runs Thread Republic, a Textile Reuse Hub in Huddersfield.
