90-minute workshop – cost £28.00 

Using running/kantha style Slow Stitching and Couching you can embellish clothing or homeware/cushions etc. During this class you look at designing, using different methods and enjoy the slow processes. This is a simple but very effective hand stitching method.

All abilities, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Meet the Tutor
CarolAnn J Alan
CarolAnn is an artist and educator specialising in hand embroidery based in Yorkshire. She also teaches Eco Printing, Slow Stitching and visible mending. Her own practice explores the importance of Slow textiles and traditional skills, naturally dying her own fabrics and threads from her garden.
