Join willow artist Rachel to make a Willow Heart. Using British willow grown in Somerset you will learn different weaving techniques to create a gorgeous chunky heart measuring around 30 x 30cm for displaying in your home or garden. Perfect for hanging on a wall, door or fence and would look fabulous with the addition of lights.

Meet the Tutor: Rachel Harwood

Rachel has been working with willow for over 10 years now and teaches many workshops mainly on decorative sculpture work for the home and garden. Rachel is a member of the Basket Makers Association. Her work is heavily influenced by nature and the outdoors. Willow is a fantastic material that lends itself to a variety of uses and its sustainability credentials make it perfect for today’s climate.
