With the help of professional pattern designer and sewing teacher, Sarah Laws, you will learn how to measure yourself correctly and you will learn how to use finished measurements to choose the right pattern size for you.

Sarah will demonstrate several simple, but invaluable techniques to help you achieve a great fit.

This workshop is for anyone who wants to learn how to draft dress and top patterns for themselves, as well as alter commercial patterns.

Advisory Note: Adults over 16 with some sewing and dressmaking experience.

Sarah is freelance pattern designer who has her own range of sewing patterns – My Handmade Wardrobe Patterns.

Sarah loves teaching fitting, pattern making and alteration skills through online courses, retreats and workshops. She is passionate about empowering sewists to explore, embrace and express their own unique style through dressmaking.
