90-minute workshop – cost £28.00 


In this workshop participants will enjoy crafting a simple yet stylish pair of basic knickers, using pre-cut powernet fabric. Each individual will have the opportunity to learn about applying lace and picot elastic, enhancing both the aesthetics and comfort of their creation. This hands-on experience will allow attended to explore sewing techniques while leaving with their own sample pair of knickers to remind them of their new found skill at home.

Advisory Note: 
Suitable for those over 18 years old, who are confident using a sewing machine.

Meet the Tutor
Barry Rogers
Barry has enjoyed being in the textile industry since 1983. He has worked alongside bespoke tailors, fashion designers and bridal specialists. Barry has been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with the Costume Department of the Beamish Open-Air Museum and with the touring production of Disney’s ‘The Lion King’. He also runs the popular Sewology Sewing Hub.
