Using a lace flower motif from the Guild’s well-admired beaded table runner you will use seed beads, bugles and sparkling crystals to create a bracelet or a necklace and earring set which is perfect for a gift, or to treat yourself.
Advisory Note:Suitable for beginners onwards, ages 12+ (12-16 years need to be accompanied by an adult)
Meet the TutorMairi Carlton
Mairi is the Chair of Trustees, Shows coordinator in Scotland and Zoom host for the Beadworkers Guild. Originally a self-taught beader, Mairi has been creating and teaching her own designs for over 20 years.
She organises a large beading group in Glasgow called ‘Beadwildered’, teaches locally on a regular basis and delivers workshops for several Scottish Guilds and shops. Mairi loves Swarovski crystals, particularly vintage samples, and includes them in her work whenever she can.
