60 minutes workshop – cost £20.00

Learn how to make one pattern work in lots of ways with a few simple pattern manipulation techniques. In this 60-minute session you’ll learn how to make a puff sleeve, pleated sleeve and flutter sleeve from just one pattern. You’ll also learn how to check if a sleeve pattern from one pattern will fit into a bodice from another. 

Advisory Note: 
No experience necessary – Everyone will benefit from this workshop, but it is most suitable for anyone who has used sewing patterns in the past and wants to get more from them. Under 16s with parental supervision only.

Meet the Tutor

Sarah Laws is the pattern designer behind My Handmade Wardrobe patterns and The Weekend Sewing Club membership. She teaches fitting, pattern making and alteration skills through online courses, retreats and workshops, with a particular love of pattern hacking. Sarah is passionate about empowering sewists to explore, embrace and express their own unique style through dressmaking.
