60-minute workshop – cost £25.00 

Come and make a star necklace in this fun taster silversmithing class with tutor Naim. 

Using a randomly assigned star shaped gemstone, we will teach you to saw and file the sterling silver setting for the stone. Then fit the setting to hold the star stone securely, shape the bail for the chain and finally, polish to a shine. 

Workshop includes a gift box and silver chain for a perfect gift for yourself or to gift at Christmas.

Advisory Note: 
Suitable for ages 10 years and above, but adult supervision essential if under 16 years. No experience or equipment needed. 

Meet the Tutor
Naim Roseby and Laura Weston
Naim and Laura are sister silversmiths. They run Calla Crafts and Obsidian Butterfly and were retail managers until they decided to retrain as silversmiths. Naim and Laura love making quirky things in their Leicester workshop and love helping people to make beautiful things using fun tools. Naim will be teaching these classes at the event and Laura manning their stand.
