STITCHED BOWLS, PLACEMATS AND COASTERS with Kim Searle, Darn it! Workshops - Saturday 14th March 2026 - 9.30am

Using cotton cord and colourful sewing thread you will learn how to create a fantastic bowl, coaster or placemat using a simple sewing technique. This technique is fast growing and can be adapted to placemats and larger bowls too! You can customise it with scraps of fabric and colour changes.

All abilities, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet the Tutor

Kim Searle (Darn It! Workshops) graduated in 2012 after specialising in Printmaking with an emphasis on creative work within communities. She now travels across the country to deliver creative sessions to galleries, groups, festivals, events and more.  She also co runs Thread Republic, a Textile Reuse Hub in Huddersfield.
