SHROOM WHISPER OF THE WOODLAND – 3D MIXED MEDIA WORKSHOP with Alex Hellawell

2-hour workshop – cost £38.00

Step into a miniature forest and create your own enchanting world in this whimsical mixed media class. Using Quick Cure Clay (QCC), illustrated mushrooms, natural textures and twinkling led lights; you’ll build a 3D mushroom scene that feels like it leapt from a Fairytale.

In this class you will be using mixed media to:

•    Sculpt little shrooms using Quick Cure Clay(QCC)
•    Paint the shrooms once cured
•    Colour two illustrated shrooms using coloured pencils
•    Attach led lights into your box frame
•    Attach illustrated shrooms and QCC shrooms using foam pads and a hot glue
•    Use tacky glue to attach moss to the base of picture

Advisory Note: 
Not suitable for children under 12 years of age due to the heat of the clay and hot glue. Adult supervision is required for under 16’s. Open to ALL abilities.
Non-latex gloves will be worn during this class.
