90-minute workshop – cost £28.00
Join Kate for a relaxed, hands on workshop where you will create shabby chic fabric rosettes with no sewing machine required.
Using a mix of repurposed and new materials, you will explore fabric manipulation and layering techniques to craft textured blooms.
These rosettes can embellish clothing, accessories, or stand alone as decorative keepsakes.
This session celebrates accessible creativity, transforming scraps and treasures into tactile flowers that carry charm and character, offering a joyful introduction to shabby fabric flowers and rosettes.

This workshop is suitable for all. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
Meet the Tutor
Kate is an award winning textile artist and tutor based in Nottinghamshire. She earned her MA in Contemporary Fine Art from Oxford Brookes University in 2006 and has been creating ever since. Her large scale textile sculptures draw on quilting traditions, incorporating found and made objects and combining hand and machine stitch to build richly textured, visually compelling works.
