ILLUMINATED LUTRADUR LANTERN – HAND-STITCHED LIGHT ART with Anita Rayfield, Eau Brink Studio
90-minute workshop – cost £28.00
Explore the possibilities of Lutradur in this relaxed 90-minute workshop and create a beautiful, illuminated lantern to take home.
Working with pre-coloured 70gsm and 30gsm Lutradur, you’ll layer tiny LED wire lights between the fibres and bond the piece using FuseFX.
Using simple floral stencils as a guide, you’ll hand stitch your design before shaping and securing the panel to professional Dannells lantern rings.
A calming and creative session suitable for all skill levels – and no sewing machine required.
Advisory Note: Suitable for adults and older children who can confidently handle a needle for hand stitching; under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
Meet the Tutor:
Anita Rayfield is a textile artist and tutor based in West Norfolk. Specializing in mixed media textile art, particularly free motion embroidery, combining creativity with technical skill in each piece. Passionate about teaching, Anita offers workshops for all ages, and regularly exhibits at The Creative Craft Shows, sharing their love for fabric and threads with others.
