GOLDWORK FLOWER DANGLES With Kathleen Laurel Sage
90-minute workshop – cost £28.00

Learn how to use several different goldwork cords to couch a stylish flower dangle to hang as a stunning ornamental embroidery. You will be shown how to embellish your couched cords with traditional smooth purl and bright check wires, how to infill and elevate the design with chippings and cut wires and leave with all the skills and materials needed to finish the decoration at home.

Advisory Note: 

This workshop is suitable for all adults and young people over 16. 

Meet the Tutor
Goldwork is Kathleen’s armchair technique of choice, and it has grown over the last 15 years into a broad collection of work with her own unique style attached to it. Kathleen works with a modern-day approach to this traditional craft where she enjoys turning her hand drawn designs into patterns for kits, classes and teaching goldwork workshops.
