Embellish a pre-cut felt case with felt shapes and a range of stitches following a simple design using straight stitch, detached chain stitch, fly stitch, seed stitch, blanket stitch, French knots, stem and running stitch.

Advice on finishing will be provided. 

The finished case could be used for glasses or keeping safe your favourite pair of scissors.

Advisory Note: 
This workshop is suitable for age 16 upwards.
A range of stitches can be used so suitable for beginners or those who already sew and simply want to relax and create for an hour. 

 

Meet the Tutor

Helen Miller

Helen is an Embroiderers’ Guild Trustee. She is an experienced stitcher and is looking forward to spending time sharing her love of stitch in these workshops.
