Learn how to layer tall grasses, delicate Queen Anne’s lace, and vibrant wildflowers using a mix of traditional stitches and dimensional techniques. Inspired by the textures and colours of a blooming summer meadow.
You will explore how to incorporate materials like artificial moss for added texture, and how to translate organic forms into expressive thread work.

Tony Phillips (The Manbroiderer) is a textile artist and educator known for nature-inspired embroidery and inclusive teaching. Specialising in traditional stitches and tactile techniques, Tony creates kits, workshops, and resources that celebrate creativity, accessibility, and community. Their practice blends daily miniature embroidery, natural dyeing, and rust-inspired textiles with a commitment to sustainability and collaborative learning.
