2 hour workshop – cost £38.00
As swallows return for spring join willow artist Rachel to make your very own willow one. Using British willow grown in Somerset you will learn different weaving techniques to create a flighty swallow for displaying indoors or outdoors on a wall, door or fence. You swallow will measure around 30 x 30cm.

Meet the Tutor: Rachel Harwood
Rachel has been working with willow for over 10 years now and teaches many workshops mainly on decorative sculpture work for the home and garden. Rachel is a member of the Basket Makers Association. Her work is heavily influenced by nature and the outdoors. Willow is a fantastic material that lends itself to a variety of uses and its sustainability credentials make it perfect for today’s climate.
