90-minutes workshop – cost £28.00

Straight Curves Panel – a ‘Pile & Plunder’ raw edge machine appliqué design from Abbie – a fun way to achieve a quick and effective result.

During this class you will pile up fabrics, use some fancy stitching and then plunder the layers with small sharp pointy scissors to reveal the fabulous fabrics beneath. 

The panel when finished could be made into book covers, cushions, bags etc

Advisory Note: 
Should suit all capabilities with a basic knowledge of sewing machine use, over the age of 16. 

Meet the Tutor
Abbie Searle
Based in North Cornwall Abbie has been designing and teaching all types of patchwork and quilting for nearly 30 years.  
She is the author of the book ‘Pile & Plunder a form of Machine Reverse Applique’. 
Travelling around the UK and further, teaching workshops, giving talks and running retreats with her pop-up shop in tow. 
Abbie enjoys meeting likeminded creatives and loves to encourage beginners or challenge those further along their P&Q journey.
Always colourful and constantly looking for something fun to do.
