It is with great sadness that Cake International due to take place at the NEC, Birmingham 6-8 November will not be happening in 2020. This difficult decision has been made in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Having been given the green-light by the government for organised events to resume from 1 October, we were delighted at the prospect of celebrating all things cake and sugar art with you, and had worked tirelessly to ensure COVID-secure measures would be in place to create a safe and controlled environment for all.

However, in response to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the latest government directives and announcements, it is in the best interest of our loyal exhibitor and visitor base to make the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 event.

Our team had worked hard on implementing measures to ensure the utmost safety of our attendees, however we are now unable to welcome you to the NEC and bring you the full event experience that we pride ourselves upon.

Ticket holders

All ticket holders will be automatically transferred to Cake International at the NEC 5-7 November 2021. You do not need to do anything.

All workshop students will be contacted separately.

Competition entrants

You have the option to move your entry to the virtual competition (please note entry price and categories are the same) or transfer Cake International 5 -7 November 2021. Please email Debbi Chaffey debbic@ichf.co.uk by Friday 30th October to confirm your preference. If you do not notify us then we will not allocate you a place in either competition. If you haven't yet entered, you can do so below.

We are of course extremely disappointed given the preparation that goes into the show from all involved. As we are now back to being a family run business we would like to thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support during this time.

Exciting news to follow about our new virtual event...
