Brush calligraphy has a fabulous range of applications, from creating beautiful handwritten quotes and invitations to designing custom artwork and logos. This informative workshop will introduce you to working with the flexible tip of a brush to create elegant letterforms. By learning the basic strokes and how to turn them into letters you can incorporate calligraphy into other crafts, journaling, and creative projects. You will be shown how to create eye-catching colour blending techniques using inks to make your own lettering artwork to take home and display. 

The Modern Calligraphy Co, run by world-renowned calligraphic artist Kirsten Burke and Managing Director Jill Hembling, has been running for 25 years, spreading their passion for Modern Calligraphy across the UK. Dedicated to making calligraphy accessible to everyone, they run workshops all over the country, including from their HQ on the South Coast. 

This workshop is suitable for adults and children over 12 years, but they must be accompanied by an adult.
