Such a fun character to create and one you can truly personlise! Join Steffi Stern, three times published author and co-founders of The Makerss who will show you how to shape easy felting wool with a felting needle and add features such as the hat and complete with facial expressions into an adorable snowman. The finished size will be about 20cm tall. Suitable for all abilities.

Steffi shares invaluable needlefelting tips and techniques suitable for beginners as well as seasoned needle felters. 

All of the virtual demos are held on a closed Facebook group.  Once you have bought your ticket you will receive an email receipt which will then be followed by an email with joining instructions.

Please note - joining instructions will be sent on weekdays only so if you book on a weekend, you will receive the email Monday morning. Any queries please email terrih@ichf.co.uk. 

Here is what you will need to complete the project:

Materials needed:

25g Core Wool batts (using our White Shetland wool batts)

5g white Cape Merino wool batts

1g of orange wool batts (using our Mountain sheep) 

1g black wool batts (using our New Zealand Merino dyed black)

2g of coloured wool batts for the hat (using our anew Zealand Dragon Mix)

1g of thin strands of coloured wool top (using our Space dyed Australian Merino top in Rainbow)

2x 6mm glue-in eyes (or beads or just black wool for eyes)


Tools: Coarse and medium felting needle / felting mat / pencil / scissors

Please note tickets are non-refundable. £8 is an introductory rate. ICHF Events cannot be held responsible for the students’ wifi reception when transmitting the demonstrations. Demos can be watched back at leisure once the live has ended. 
Each demo is approximately 60-90 mins, some may be pre-recorded but the artist will be available in the group during the scheduled time to answer any questions.
